  • What does Angel's Pure Hospice Care do?
    We provide specialized care services including symptom management, emotional support and spiritual support. We address the issues that are most important to the patient’s needs and wants at the end of their life, focusing on improving the individual’s quality life.
  • When is time for Hospice Care?
    Generally, it is time for Hospice Care when doctors diagnose terminal prognosis. It is better to begin hospice care early rather than late. Many people are referred too late to fully benefit from all the services offered through hospice.
  • Who is eligible for Hospice Care?
    Those diagnosed with life-limiting condition in case the disease is left to follow natural course. Also those with illnesses in which curative measures are no longer effective, appropriate, or desired.
  • Does Angel's Pure Hospice Care provide support to the family after a patient dies?
    Yes. We provide bereavement services to the family after the patient’s death.
  • Can I live alone and still receive Hospice Care services?
    Yes. We accept patients who live alone.
  • Who can refer a patient?
    Anyone can refer a friend or their loved ones to a Hospice Care program. The patient and family should feel free to discuss hospice care services at any time with their physician, other health care providers, clergy or friends.
  • What is needed to be eligible for Hospice Care?
    Patient must be determined to have a terminal illness. - If the disease follows its normal course - has made the choice to receive ‘palliative care’ versus ‘curative’ treatments - agrees with comfort measures for continuing care.
  • Who pays for hospice?
    - Medicare - Medi-Cal - HMO’s & Private Insurance
