When is time for Hospice Care?
Generally, it is time for Hospice Care when doctors are diagnose terminal prognosis. It is better to begin hospice care early rather than late. Many people are referred too late to fully benefit from all the services offered through hospice.
Who is eligible for Hospice Care?
Those diagnosed with a life-limiting conditions, should the disease follow its natural course.
Also those with illnesses in which curative measures are no longer effective, appropriate, or desired.
It is not necessary to be homebound to receive hospice care.
